How we live is how we eat. Most of us may feel that our lives have become a bit lackluster. We work, sleep, eat, and go through the same motions day after day. And, similarly, we may find ourselves in “food ruts”, or eating the same things day after day. We may have even settled in on eating from a limited palette of brown, yellow and white foods like bread, pasta, French fries, hamburgers, and high-sugar snacks like cookies.
What if you were able to capture the color and vibrancy back in your life – in how you felt, what you thought, and how you lived – just through foods and eating?

What if you could develop a relationship with food that would open up your being to the rainbow potential of every moment?
Foods are a pathway to healing. And through the colors and properties of foods, you can rediscover your inner rainbow!

Join me on the journey…
Color Your Way to Wellness in 7 Weeks!

Become the artist of your life!

I invite you to take the journey with me through the colors of the rainbow as we explore the symbolic meaning of color and each of their connections with foods and eating.

As we travel this 7-week path, you will unravel the spiral of your unique self through specific foods, activities, and visualizations allowing yourself to shine and radiate your innate wellness!

Themes for Each Week:

Week 1 – RED

Red represents survival, safety, and trust. It symbolizes the earthy, body part of us. This session will provide a foundation to understand how your relationship to your body and your sense of instinct influence your health and your food choices. You will learn easy ways to tune into the body’s messages about eating and find out about the foods that help to keep you grounded and present in your body.

Week 2 – ORANGE

Orange represents relationships, creativity, and emotions. It symbolizes the water part of us – the ability our body has to move and flow in the stream of life. This session will dive into how our relationships with foods are connected to our emotional expression. Additionally, we will explore the importance of creativity and play in meal preparation, as well as discuss the role of movement in health and what foods create “flow” within us.

Week 3 – YELLOW

Yellow represents transformation, power, and energy. It symbolizes the fire within us, or the ability we have to transform food into energy through our digestive tract. This session will ignite your inner core to focus in a laser-like manner on how you balance your life through the foods you choose and how you eat them. We will discuss the impact of stress eating, strategies to overcome it, and how certain foods can deplete the body’s energy.

Week 4 – GREEN

Green represents joy, dedication, and love. It symbolizes the air element within us, which is felt through the breaths we take in every moment. The lungs sit in the chest area with the heart, and the two together provide other forms of nourishment that go beyond food – that of oxygen and love. This session will in-spire you to connect to the most important ingredient you could ever consume – that of love – love of self, others, and planet – through the act of breathing and eating. You will learn about foods for the heart and the role of love in making your foods tastier!

Week 5 – AQUAMARINE

Aquamarine represents truth, choice, and communication. It symbolizes the five-pointed star within us that shines with brilliance and authenticity. When we are in contact with our inner truth, we will be able to stand our ground in our food choices and speak our voice about our views on how we choose to eat without succumbing to guilt or pleasing others. This session will radiate the beauty of the five senses and five tastes we have available to us in every bite of food through an enlightened exercise in mindful eating.

Week 6 – INDIGO

Indigo represents intuition, imagination, and wisdom. It symbolizes a spiral of wisdom within us. The more we know, the deeper we go on each rung of the spiral, opening up to new perceptions of food and eating. The experience of eating can be a gateway to our inner and outer universe – it can guide us into the depths of ourselves and take us on a journey to the universal connections within nature. This session will unlock the rhythm of our intuitive selves, as we explore the role of inner sight in food choices. We will discuss foods that are nourishing for the brain and mood.

Week 7 – WHITE

White represents infinity, interconnection, and divinity. It symbolizes a radiant, shining sun feeding us with its eternal light. We can become invigorated in the absence of food as much as we can from the presence and consumption of it. Sometimes we need to release ourselves from the “noise” of certain foods to uncover the clarity within. This session will illumine the role of purification of the body through the act of detoxification by eliminating certain foods. We will touch on physical, emotional and mental toxin release.
