ClaimChoice Site Tour - Insurance Agents

In the new economy, agents and brokers set themselves apart from direct providers of insurance products by personal relationships and customer service.

Good service enhances personal relationships; repeat business usually follows bonds of trust. And whom does the customer call in the first instance when the accident occurs? You. And when your customer's claim stalls because of constant turnover among assigned personnel, who get the call? You do. Unfortunately, agents and brokers often have a hard time getting claim information. Information about your customers' third party claims is even more difficult to come by. Agents are left with questions they can't answer from customers that look to them for service and information.

ClaimChoice has rewritten the rules of the claim settlement process. With ClaimChoice, claimants enter information about their accidents into the site's pages. Insurance carriers view this information and can settle the claim directly with the claimant. This arrangement means that the claimant doesn't have to hire an attorney and can keep the 33 1/3% contingency fee he would have paid otherwise. If the parties can't reach a mutually agreeable settlement, ClaimChoice helps the claimant find legal representation by giving member attorneys the opportunity to submit proposals for the case.

ClaimChoice has two pages devoted specifically to agents. The first, My Customers, displays all of the customers that you have referred to the service. ClaimChoice will notify you about significant developments in the claims your customers have filed. You then can communicate with your customer about topics that are important to him as they are happening. By clicking the File a Claim button at the bottom of the page, you can start a claimant off on the ClaimChoice claim process.

The second page is My Profile, which shows you the information you entered when you registered with ClaimChoice.

ClaimChoice also has an e-mail notification system that keeps agents informed of the latest developments in a customer's claims process. For example, when a claimant settles his claim with the insurance carrier, agents receive e-mail that alerts them to this event. You will also receive e-mail whenever your customer's claim has been sent to ClaimChoice's Find a Lawyer service, which is where member attorneys submit their proposals.

By recommending ClaimChoice, agents give their customers the chance to help themselves and to save valuable time and lawyers fees in the process. A successful agent is one who instills trust in his customers. ClaimChoice helps you build strong, lasting customer relationships.
